“Street Songs” is a theatrical performance directed by Mr. Mohammad Rahmanian. The production emerged from a 40 day training workshop led by him, culminating in the public performance by participating actors.
The show opened with a prologue, followed by seven acts. Each act featured two actors and lasted approximately fifteen minutes. Throughout the performance, actors sang old Iranian street songs, integrating music and theater within the storytelling.
The theater script explored various moments of everyday life, capturing both bitter and sweet experiences. Combined with old Iranian street songs, the performance portrayed realistic, relatable stories that reflect the ups and downs of human life.
